In one word: Sticky
I probably made the mistake of trying to eat this mille-feuille style slice a little too quickly. I chopped it into four and took massive mouthfuls whilst in a rush, but what divine mouthfuls they were. Crispy, golden pastry came through first in texture and taste, followed by the sweet, sticky icing, leaving a creamy aftertaste of sweet vanilla creme patissiere. Very nice in taste, texture, size and value for money at $4.50.
