In one word: Creamy
Having devoured an eggs Benedict and a latte for breakfast there was room for this neatly presented beauty. A lightly whipped vanillary cream was sampled with the cake fork for testing first and it was rather pleasant - vanilla ice cream minus the ice. The pastry cut efficiently with the fork into manageable chunks and the generous dusting of icing sugar remained on top, even when being deconstructed. Not the best by a long stretch, but deliciously fresh, creamy and just sweet enough.
