I arrived in Huskisson Bay after a long drive with the intention of ticking this place off my bucket list. Unbelievably by 3pm they had sold out of their reputable vanilla slices. Instead of crying and storming out I ordered the closest thing to a vanilla slice on the menu - a custard/cream éclair. Very fresh cream and velvety custard and beautiful choux pastry. I have unfinished business with this place.
